Services

Pre-Arrest Services

If it comes to your attention that you have a warrant for your arrest, you should immediately make arrangements to surrender yourself to the jurisdiction in which you are being sought. If it is not possible to go to that jurisdiction then you should surrender yourself at the police department most convenient for you. In some cases you will be able to post bail immediately, and having a Bail Bondsmen with you will save time, and keep you from sitting in a jail cell. In other cases, you might have to be brought in front of the judge in order for bail to be set. Having your Bail Bondsmen prearranged can once again lessen the amount of time you might be sitting in a jail cell. If you have an attorney, you should notify him/her of the situation, and of your plan to surrender yourself. It is very important to follow the advice of your attorney.

When a warrant is issued, you are left with only two choices. The first and best choice is to turn yourself in to the police. The second choice would be to try to avoid apprehension. Avoiding apprehension would be a bad idea, as it not only adds more charges and penalties to your case, it might also make you ineligible for bail.

All Area Bail Bonds is always available to help you in this process and our agents are available to post your Bail as soon as legally possible.

Post-Arrest Services

After a person is arrested, they are brought in front of a Judge who will determine what amount of Bail will be placed upon the defendant. The Bail amount will be set by the Judge, who will take many things into consideration, including how severe the crime was, and the defendant's level of flight risk. In some very extreme cases, bail may not be permissible. Once Bail is set, the defendant will await transfer to the County Detention Center where they will remain until trial, or they can have Bail posted which would secure their release until trial.

If a person is out on Bail, they must adhere to all the conditions that the Judge has placed on them, and any additional conditions that the Bail Bonds Company requires. A person who has been released on bail is expected to avoid all criminal activity, check in on regular intervals, and remain in the state until the trial is complete.

The agents at All Area Bail Bonds are available to help you throughout the entire process. We are here to help and answer all of your questions.
